Choose your engagement option
WorkCast allows you to choose whether your audience can engage with you during an event. You can enable Audience Engagement: Questions and Chat, or select None to disable interaction entirely.
Choosing Engagement Settings
To review or update your audience engagement settings, go to:
Session Setup & Studio Access β Features tab
By default, Audience Engagement: Questions and Chat is selected. To disable engagement, select None, then click Save and Publish Draft.
Audience Engagement: Questions and Chat
This option enables WorkCastβs Q&A and chat features, designed to help you get the most out of your event. Producers and presenters can choose between two modes:
-
Private β Questions submitted by attendees are visible only to producers and presenters in the WorkCast Studio. This is a fully moderated format.
-
Public β An open chat and Q&A format where attendees and presenters can interact with one another.

How It Works for Attendees
Audience members can submit questions or join the discussion via the Ask a Question section in your event auditorium. The appearance and location of this section may vary depending on your chosen event template.
