Here at WorkCast we understand the importance of attendee engagement and your webinars. We also understand that while some organisations encourage open conversation others need to ensure that engagement is controlled. Because of this we offer both fully moderated engagement and open engagement options.
How to select your chosen engagement tool
Within your event, under the Session Setup & Studio access section navigate to the Features tab. At the top of this tab you will see 4 check boxes of engagement options to choose from.
To change the engagement, click the checkbox of your chosen engagement and then Save and Publish draft.

Ask a Question.
What is it and how does it work?
Ask a Question is a moderated engagement tool which allows your attendees to ask questions before/ during and after the event.
By default, these questions are private, and can be seen only by the person asking the question and presenters within the studio using the Attendee question pod.
You/your presenters can choose to respond to these questions verbally during the event or via a typed response using the Attendee Questions pod.

What does it look like?
Engagement Wall.
What is it and how does it work?
Engagement wall is an open attendee engagement tool which includes both Chat and Q&A.
This feature allows your attendees to chat amongst each other, reply directly to each other and add “likes” to other posted messages but also to submit a specific question to you/your presenters which can then be seen and “upvoted” by other attendee’s.
You and your attendees can also use emojis and gifs within the chat.
If your template allows, you can then choose how this will appear on your auditorium.

Participant chat (Legacy)
What is it and how does it work?
Attendee Chat is an open engagement tool which allows your attendees to chat publicly with other event attendees. Presenters and Chat moderators have the ability to see individual attendees and pro-actively start a private chat with them.
This chat is Legacy and does not allow for emojis or gifs.
