How do I activate chapters on my account?
What are chapters?
Use chapters to make your on-demand content easier to navigate for viewers and highlight defined sections or presentations within your event. We use AI to generate chapters based on your media file and captions, and once activated on your account will generate chapters for all new on demand media file when captions are generated.
Chapters show as small markers on the media timeline with a couple of lines of text to describe each chapter. Chapters can be clicked on to take the viewer straight to that section of the on-demand.
The chapter titles show as a list when the chapters icon is clicked on the media window bar. A viewer can jump to a chapter by clicking on the chapter name.
How do I activate chapters on my account?
You only need to activate chapters once on your account. Once activated chapters will automatically generate whenever captions have been generated for an on-demand event.
We use AI to create chapters based on the content of your media so further terms and conditions need to be accepted in order for these to be created. Please complete this form to accept these and start generating chapters.
How to add custom chapters
We use AI to generate your chapters based on your content, however AI may get it wrong and you want to change the wording or placement of your chapters. You can find full instructions of how to add custom chapters here.
