How to use your external webcam for your WorkCast events

This article is a step-by-step guide on how to use an external (3rd party) webcam for your WorkCast events.

  • Connecting to the WorkCast interactive studio as usual
  • Join the My Connections pod by clicking ‘Join Event’ 


  • Navigate to the control bar at the bottom of the My Connections window by moving your mouse around in the My Connections window
  • Click the small arrow above the camera button to select your webcam:



  • Select your external webcam from the list that appears, you may need to scroll down to see the desired webcam.


You’re all done! If you’d like to connect a different microphone, you can follow these same steps, but this time click the arrow above the mute button:
