When you receive a link from the events teams to provide edits to your pre-recorded media, follow the below guide.
Once you have completed your pre-record session, you will be sent a link to access the media for review within 3-5 working days. The media will have already been trimmed with visible edits from the session amended, before being sent.
To provide your edits, please follow the below:
- Click on the link in the email you have received from events@workcast.com.
- You will then be taken to an editing collaboration tool.
- Click on the play button and watch the media.
- If you have an edit, pause the media by clicking the pause button or by clicking on the media window and add a comment/edit in the comments bar at the bottom of the page. Once you click "send", the comment will be saved, sent to the events team and will be visible on the timeline bar on the media.
- You can also see your comments on the right hand bar.
- The events team will receive your edits in real time and will also get an email notification with each change you request.
- Once you have reviewed all the media, please email the events team on your existing ticket to confirm that the media has been reviewed and all comments have been added.
- If the events team have any questions, they will come back to you by adding in any comments in the collaboration tool. You will receive an email notification if the events team have added any comments and you can respond as required.
- The events team will then edit the media as requested and they will again send you an email with the link for a full and final review of the media.
- Once approved, the media will be uploaded to your account and added to your event.
Each round of edits take between 3-5 working days as standard, so please review the media in full and collate all edits together.

- Your licence MUST have agreed capacity prior to booking.
- Edited media is a managed service, however we do offer additional editing services.
