Media Hub pod
The Media Hub is the main pod in a simulive event and is where your pre-loaded media will appear at time of broadcast.
There are number of messages you may see in your studio.
"Please wait while we convert your media for the best playback experience" - This shows while your media is encoding for the best playback experience. This shouldn't take too long but we recommend uploading and attaching your media at least 1 hour prior to your live event time to allow for this.
"Your stream will start on the [date] at [time]" - This will show when your media is encoded and up to
"You can preview the stream until [date] at [time]" - This will show along with the confirm stream start time and will show around 1 hour prior to your event start time. This may vary depending on your media length.
"Your stream will start in 10 minutes..." - This shows when your stream will start in 10 minutes time and will count down each minute.
"Your stream has ended" - This will show after the scheduled end of your event.
Preview your simulive stream
You are able to preview your simulive stream prior to your scheduled event time. Your preview availability is dependant on your media length and is your media length plus 15 minutes (e.g. if you media is 1 hour long, you can preview your simulive up until 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to your event).
To preview, click Preview in the Media Hub pod in the studio. The will start playing out and will only play out in the studio and not in the auditorium. This may take a few minutes to start.

Once you are finished previewing please click the STOP button in the blue preview bar below the media.

As the live broadcast time approaches the preview button will become unavailable.
What happens during your simulive event?
10 minutes prior to the broadcast time a 10 minute countdown will appear in the Media Hub.

At the broadcast time your media will be available in the Media Hub in the studio as well as in the auditorium.
In the Media Hub, press the play button to see your broadcasting media.

Your media will broadcast out in full, with the broadcast stopping automatically when complete.
The Media Hub will then show a message that your stream has ended. You can then create your on-demand as normal.

Noticed an issue?
During your live broadcast a Producer user will be able to see additional buttons giving options to Restart the stream or Stop the stream.
These can be used if you see an issue on the event (e.g. incorrect media has been attached to the event).
Restart the stream - Restarting the stream will start the same media again from the beginning in both the studio and for the audience in the auditorium.
Stop the stream - Stopping the stream will completely stop the media in the studio and for the audience in the auditorium. There will be an option to restart the stream.

If you are replacing the media and restarting the stream, please be aware that this may take a few minutes to process before the stream restarts.
We recommend messaging your audience via the Event Interactions pod or Audience Engagement pod to keep them informed so that they stay on the page,
